Instagram  users can now publish videos that last up to 60 seconds, before today it was only possible videos up to 15 seconds. This new feature extension, following the latest update on iOS and Android will be available to all users within the next coming months.  This new user feature occurs on the context where around two months ago, Instagram  had extended the video length capability for its advertisers up to one-minute long.  “ We want to bring you fun, flexible and creative ways to create and watch video on Instagram,” the company announced on a post . Vine now has a new look and functionality  announced  earlier for desktop users, which includes improvements on navigation and discovery features.  Furthermore, all of its video content is now accessible to anyone without the requirement to sign-in to view content. With these new improvements it also includes alongside a user profile streams, the display of a featured section which includes Editors Picks, cool playlists, and special featured videos. Google  only friday  announced  more updates to its popular service  YouTube . It now follows, that many more users will soon be able to use the great capability of live streaming. The pre-requisite for YouTube users to use this capability is that their channel needs to be in a good standing and include a minimum number 100 channel subscribers. As a result, it is safe to assume that many more users (such us our channel YODspica ) are soon capable to live stream of which in our case it suits perfectly as we have a great event coming up in September that we would like to use this capability. The popular social media platform  Twitter  is now testing a new feature in relation to its embedded tweet service. This service includes a list of links, seen below posted tweets, that relate to references of the tweet post overall reach.  This innovation arrives in a context where Twitter is constantly looking to become more interactive. Corporate users of Microsoft Yammer  are now able to see their influential scores via klout  which is available to everyone connect on the corporate network. They way Klout works is that it calculates an influential dynamic score result following a user activity on social media and the general internet usage. The scores include also topics of influence which can be noted on user Yammer profiles. A new mobile app has launched called Instafeed , which allows users to custom build feeds based on their selective interests from the Instagram home page. Instafeed iOS app  is free download, that ties directly into Instagram and as a result it further reinforces Instagram API as a platform for developers to build extra custom features which in turn makes the platform even more popular. Facebook  has announced on a post a  Year In Review for 2012 , an interesting feature where its users can see a visual representation with content highlights of their popular events, movies, technology and locations throughout the year of 2012. Furthermore, Facebook is providing to its users access to data analysis, which includes a customized Year In Review which can be posted on everyone’s individual timeline.
