LinkedIn  has  announced a new tool FeatureFu  which is to become open source for all software developers.  The FeatureFu will help software developers to build machine learning models around statistical modeling and decision engines. Twitter Periscope Live Broadcasting Now Available New App

Twitter has published a proprietary live-streaming video app for iOS  . This news comes in a context where a few weeks ago it was announced a similar service Meerkat at the SXSW . The new app called  Periscope works by allowing its users to live-stream from their smartphones to viewed publicly on-line. This new app is not a new idea, as there are already similar apps available, however in this case it appears to be trending topic as technology such as 4G allows for better capabilities and signal improvement responsiveness. In practice the way it works is that much in the same way as other apps that can live stream,  As soon as an event starts by a user by starting a broadcast it is followed by an optional alert that is published live on their twitter stream.  As expected, the live broadcast has the interactive capability for users to comment and send “hearts”. Following  F8 conference , it was announced a new Messenger Platform  with new possibilities for partner apps.  The new opportunity is available to 600 million users that can create and share content using third-party tools, furthermore communicate directly with businesses without the need to call or email.  The content tools platform and apps already have initial partners such as  ESPN , JibJab , Wordeo and Giphy , in an Messenger update from today .  In this context, Facebook is also starting a new development venture with partners to be able to offer business chat capabilities. To complement this new opportunity, it was released an SDK  for developers to enable to start building engaging content. An interesting new startup Tandem Lane  launched today, it is a mobile application that enables its users to better create digital solutions and resulting in a solution that ships as an offline creative product.  It is targeted at users that can add their families members photos including from different generations, by simply turning existing photos into postcards that can be posted offline for a small fee.  The vision here is that people can share and present their favourite photos collated in a creative product that is available offline in a fast and easy manner than can be shared with anyone via post. The key here is that this solution can be a smooth process as much as possible as when compared an online sharing service although obviously not as fast and immediate. The UK, can now benefit from Amazon daily deals , as a new dedicate website in the UK has launched. Today, however is only available to people living in London that have subscribed to email morning alerts on today's deals. The new service called  AmazonLocal  for the UK, allows people to subscribe to email alerts on daily offers, however these offers will be customized to where you live. As a result, money saving deals will be posted via email every morning relevant to where you live. Furthermore, reward points will also be awarded on purchases .  Nevertheless at present this new service is only in operation for London. This service has been in operation in the US since last year.
