Microsoft has announced that for its new Windows8 operating system, the much awaited revamped games entertainment section will include fourty games to start from Xbox Live. Some games originated from Microsoft Studio. The way the games will work including modes will be similar to the current Xbox features and offering.

The announced 40 games to be included in the Windows 8 release are:
